The Cobblestone Restaurant in Geneva, New York is a restored 1825 farm house. Originally built as a Tavern and Stage Coach Stop in the 1700's, the second floor was added on in the mid-1800's for living quarters. Soon after, the building was purchased by the Fordon Family, known throughout the area as large landowners and farmers.
Cradled between Rochester and Syracuse are the Finger Lakes and in the heart of the Finger Lakes is the city of Geneva. Geneva is rich in history, famous for its beauty and unique in spirit. Along historic South Main Street you will find Pulteney Square and the scenic campuses of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. It is also the perfect place to begin your tour of the local Wineries.

Northern Italian/Continental
An elegant restaurant in an attractive house (inhabiting the original tavern of a 1790 gentleman's farm), this is one of the best dining spots in town. There's an atmospheric small dining room downstairs and several others upstairs, where there's a deck with nice long views over Geneva. The menu focuses on classic dishes, such as wood-grilled steaks and chops, chicken parmigiana, fresh lobster, and veal scallopine. The small and affordably priced wine list includes a number of the Finger Lakes' best. Note that locals may still refer to the restaurant by its former moniker, 'Pasta Only's.'

Combine an historic 1825 farmhouse, classic Italian cooking, and a wood-fired grill and you come up with an exceptional dining experience. When the owners of the successful Pasta Only restaurant decided they needed more space, they discovered this lovely old building with porches, fireplaces and cozy rooms. They bought it and changed the name a bit but not the quality of the food. It has a lovely garden patio, verandas and several dining rooms. Seafood comes from Boston, produce from local farmers as much as possible, and pasta is made fresh daily. Chicken pesto, boscaida Verona, crab cakes, veal cobblestone and sea bass are just some of the tempting selections.
